Kristine L. Cook, Esq.
Attorney

Kristine L. Cook is an attorney at Peterson, Logren, & Kilbury, P.A. and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2010. She was also admitted to the Rhode Island Bar shortly after completing law school in 2009.

Kristine started at our firm in 2019. Prior to joining PLK, Kristine handled defense of occupational disease and orthopedic workers’ compensation matters, along with general insurance defense and coverage cases and civil asbestos litigation for a defense firm in Minneapolis. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert Rancourt with the Supreme Court Appeal Panel and in Chisago County District Court. Early on in practice, Kristine spent a year as a plaintiffs’ attorney at a Minneapolis firm focused on medical malpractice, commercial and personal injury litigation, and she also has a background in legal and insurance industry related writing and editing.

During her time at our firm, Kristine has continued to expand her skills in handling increasingly complex workers’ compensation cases and pursuing appellate matters before the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals. She appreciates the opportunity to meet clients’ diverse needs by vigorously defending through the course of litigation or securing settlement through mediation or other channels to effectively and expeditiously resolve claims.
